Professional Photos vs. Do It Yourself
I have been browsing through your photos and I have a few questions:
Guys: What are you thinking? If you really want to meet women on this site - why are you uploading such horrible photos of yourself? I have seen some pretty awful photos on some of your pages and - I promise – they are not working for you. I've talked to several single women (who happen to be on Myspace.) Here is what they do not want to see as your main photo on your Myspace front page:
1) Your bare body parts from the waist down. Really guys - it's tacky.
2) Out of focus - "too dark to see" photos. (You hope these women will see you in person eventually - so put your best shot out there) .
3) Images of celebrities. We know what celebrities look like - please don't give them any more free advertising.
4) No photo at all. Humm, you will be passed up immediately.
5) Photos of your ex girlfriends or "dream date". ACK!
6) Photos of you with your ex girlfriends. ACK ACK!
7) Pictures of near naked women. Get over it!
8) Photos that shadow your face - see #2
Ladies: You are said to be the loveliest creatures on earth. Why are you making your photos look "cheap"? A photo can be sexy without being a "for sale" sign. Do yourself a favor – don't "sell" your "goods" on the net. Have your photos done professionally and don't give these guys the wrong idea. You are worth so much more than that!
Contact me for details about my "publicity" photo session. I'm in the Indy area and my fees are very reasonable.

Your wedding is a beautiful occasion. Make sure that you have it well documented!
The digital camera invasion has made it much easier for the "average joe photographer" to take pictures. However, I watch people as they are taking photos with their digital cameras. It's exhausting. Even with the auto focus/auto adjust and auto... auto… auto-matic machinery - they still can't get the shot! The bride's smile has melted by the time they get all of the "auto" buttons to work. Or worse, they miss the shot because they don't have the knowledge of when the next crucial shot is going to happen.
If you are planning a wedding - hire a professional! I know that the wedding world can be outrageously expensive. However, you can still find a very skilled pro to do this job for a very reasonable fee. Remember: finding out that your "cheaper rate" photographer didn't really know what they were doing - after the fact - is too late. You can't bring that day back. So, pick a pro!
Best Wishes!

Are your photos outdated? Does Mike have to stand on his head and spit out nickels before you listen? Your photos are your calling card in this business!!! They promote you! They can determine whether or not a casting director puts you in their "good" file or their "bad" file. Try this...I offer a session called "Your Best Shot". This session is a steal! You bring two of your best outfits plus an extra top - we create headshots, mid-length and full length shots using these outfits. You receive a CD of all of the images FOR UNLIMITED USE (you can print 8x10's, send the images to comp card printers, use the images on myspace...whatever). The fee is only $250. This fee is discounted from the original session price and is available to anyone that contacts me through the Creative Talent Workshop. It's that simple! An example slide show of "Your Best Shot" can be found at www.mgphotos.com/actors.htm Contact me at jennifer@mgphotos.com or (317) 773-8598 for an appointment. Do it now :-) www.mgphotos.com
